COLLABORATIVE ABSTRACT MURAL

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Elements of Life was an interesting project because we were given specific requirements to create a color-blocked abstract art piece. We had to include items such as two circles, four angled lines, etc., and we could only use primary colors.
PROCESS
In this process we went through two paper drafts before we created our final product on wood panels. I was inspired by the famous abstract artwork Ms. Meredith had shown us and included some of ideas those artists had used. The art piece was completed using primary colored paint with sharpie pen outlines.
FINAL PRODUCT
I was really proud of this piece because I did something no one else did. I basically did my whole drawing within one large circle; only two parallel lines of different widths went outside of the circle. This allowed me to expose some of the wood panel, which I really liked.
